Calling Planet Earth – The Show That Defines a Decade at The Anvil in Basingstoke

The show is performed by an incredible live band with awesome symphonic arrangements combined with stunning vocals and cast. Calling Planet Earth is more than just a concert; it is an immersive experience that will transport you back to the decade of big hair, shoulder pads, and synthesizers.

The show begins with a bang, with the band performing a medley of some of the biggest 80s hits. From there, the show takes a more chronological approach, with the band performing songs from different years of the decade. This allows the audience to see how music evolved throughout the 80s, from the new romantic sound of the early 80s to the big hair metal sound of the late 80s.

One of the things that makes Calling Planet Earth so special is its attention to detail. The band and cast are all dressed in authentic 80s clothing, and the set is designed to look like a nightclub from the era. The show also features a number of special effects, such as lasers and pyrotechnics, which add to the immersive experience.
