Basingstoke Green Week 2026

Basingstoke Green Week returns for nine days of sustainability‑focused events, workshops, talks and community activities across the borough. Expect family sessions, eco‑crafts, nature walks, repair cafés, local business showcases, and practical ideas for living greener at home and at work.

The programme brings together community groups, charities, schools and local organisations, all highlighting simple ways to reduce waste, save energy and protect the environment. Events take place in venues across Basingstoke, with many free to attend.

Saturday 6 June
Live Stage Shows – The Malls (10am–3.30pm)
Junk Jodie & Bobby Bee, Urban Picnic shows, recycling magic, repair café intro, nature talks, nappy library, bike checks.

Green Market – The Malls (9am–5.30pm)
Local eco stalls, honey, refurbished bikes, water‑saving freebies, wildlife trail, repair café demos, conservation groups.

Hatch Warren Repair Café (10.30am–1pm) – Hatch Warren Community Centre

Sustainable Bourne Valley Repair Café (10am–12pm) – George Inn, St Mary Bourne

Overton Activities
Repair café, community kitchen garden open day, guided evening bird walk.
