Basingstoke Amateur Theatrical Society presents Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Evenings: 7.30pm, Saturday and Sunday matinee: 2.30pm

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a retelling of the biblical story of Joseph, the son of Jacob, who has a talent for interpreting dreams. His jealous brothers sell him into slavery in Egypt, but Joseph rises from rags to riches with the help of his colourful coat and his divine destiny. Along the way, he meets a variety of characters, such as the Pharaoh, who is a rock star in disguise, the Baker and the Butler, who have strange dreams, and the Narrator, who guides us through this musical adventure.

The show features catchy songs that span different genres, such as pop, rock, country, calypso, and disco. Some of the famous songs include Any Dream Will Do, Close Every Door To Me, Go, Go, Go Joseph, and One More Angel In Heaven.
