The Basingstoke Pop-Up Christmas Gospel Choir event is happening on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at Barchester - St Thomas Care Home in Basingstoke.
This joyful event features a Christmas gospel choir workshop and performance, led by the local gospel/soul duo, Soul Thirst Music.
The event is open to anyone aged 18 and up who loves to sing. Participants will learn to sing together with 24 other people, creating uplifting gospel harmonies. The workshop will last for about 1 hour and 20 minutes, with a performance for the care home's dementia residents and staff at around 3:15 PM.
Refreshments will be provided, and there's free parking on site. Wearing Christmas jumpers is encouraged but not required1. It's a fantastic opportunity to spread some festive cheer and make a positive impact on the community.
